Green Building Technology

The Green Building concept refers to either a structure and/or a process that constructs a building that is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout its entire life-cycle. This requires close cooperation of the design team, the architects, the engineers, and the client at all project development stages. The Green Building concept expands and complements the classical building design in regard to the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment by:

• Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources;
• Protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity, and
• Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation.
